Q: Do I need a 4WD to get onto the venue to spectate

A: No most passenger vehicles will get you to most spectator areas.

Q: What are the tracks like

A: The stages have been designed to test driver, navigator and vehicle by guys that have competed in some very high class 
    events around Australia, We have mud, creeks, rocks and steep hills, 95% of stages are natural terrain.

Q: When is scrutineering and can the public come and see the cars

A: Public are welcome to come and look

Q: How can we find the Venue

A: The property is in Mogumber (125km from the Perth CBD) It will be sign posted from the Mogumber Tavern

Q:what is the camping area like

A: The camping area is flat firm ground so camper trailers have easy access (NOTE* quality tent pegs are a must). there will be toilets on the property in the camping and spectator areas.

Q: Will there be winching in the event

A: Yes you will need a winch in good working order and it is recommended to have horns fitted to your bar, We also recommend fitting a new battery for the event.

Q: Is there camping onsite for spectators

A: Yes (NO DOGS ALLOWED ON THE PROPERY)

Q: Does an Isolater need to be fitted?

A: Yes, the Isolator must cut the engine and fuel supply

Q: Do we need to have window nets fitted?

A: Yes

Q: What is the requirements of a rollcage to enter this event?

A:The minimum design for any rollover protection fitted for Group B events shall be Type 2 (CAMS Manual Schedule J) half cage except that the diagonal brace may be removable, including back stays Specification for material and mounting of rollover protection shall be to conform to CAMS specifications in Schedule J of the CAMS manual.

 Q: I currently run wheel spacers on my vehicle, can I run them during this event?

 A: No Wheel spacers are not permitted in this event

 Q: Do I need harnesses fitted to compete?

 A: A 4point harness is recommended but a lap sash in working order will be passed

Q: My vehicle has hydro assist steering, can I still enter?

A: The Event is Group B that doesn't cater for open class vehicles where hydro steer is allowed (you may apply in writing to event director for clarification)

Q: What recovery equipment must a vehicle carry?

A: A List of recovery gear each vehicle MUST carry are in the CCDA standing Regulations (paragraph 4.1.6 page 29)

Q: Can the driver assist with winching during a stage?

A: Yes, as long as he doesn't handle the cable when it is under tension. Refer to the CCDA standing regulations paragraph 2.33. (page 9)

Q:What is property access like? Is my truck going to pose a problem?

A:No. There is bitumen right to the front gate and the pit area surface is firm and flat.


Q:Do you need marshals?

A: Yes, marshals are an integral part of any competiton. An "info" night will be held soon, so stay tuned! 


Q: I'd like to enter my competition vehicle. How do I go about it?

A: This event is a group 'B' event held under the CCDA. If you meet the criteria for the event, Entry forms and Supp Regs are now available in the Downloads section.


Q:Can any make of 4wd enter?

A:If it meets the criteria. This is a Group 'B' Event.


Q:How do i come and watch the event?

A:Venue and spectator entry details will be available soon.
